CMS Corrective Work Order Improvements

We’ve improved the information that goes into Corrective Work Orders – the work orders that generate based on Procedure Readings failing.  The additional information should help you and your team identify problems more quickly and efficiently!

Comments

When a Procedure Reading that is set up to generate a work order on failure is set to fail, the information included in the newly created work order now shows the Failed Reading Description, the Failed Reading Value, and the Failed Reading Comments.  These will show as a General Comment in the Comments portal of the work order page for the corrective work order.  Other comments will still be added to the Comment portal on the corrective generated work order for the defaults set up in the Procedure Reading configuration.

Common Problem Data

The Common Problem that is set up in the Procedure for the original work order has the ability to fill in the fields that Common Problem has configured.  The possible fields (if configured) include the Description, Work Order Status, Work Order Category, Priority, Trade, Procedure, Needed by date, Date Available, and Estimated hours.  The Date fields are set to an integer (30, for 30 days for example), and will calculate based on the date of failure onto the new work order.
